Happy Apple Academy is the preschool ministry of St. Marys Methodist Church. Our program encompasses the highest standards in early childhood education within a Christian environment of love and support. We have been a ministry of the St. Marys Methodist Church since 1981. 

At Happy Apple Academy, we believe that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring, and discovery. Preschool children are creative and receptive; our staff strives to encourage these qualities in the children who attend. We work to provide an atmosphere that encourages the child's social, emotional, physical, intellectual growth and development. 

Our curriculum is developmentally appropriate and carefully crafted for each age group. From the youngest age our students are immersed in activities to encourage social, language, physical, and spiritual development. By the time our students are in their prekindergarten year, they are involved in all areas of the curriculum including a highly effective phonics program. We delight in teaching Bible lessons and Christian values. We are proud of the fact that children are having such fun they do not realize the activities are designed for learning. 

Our amazing staff is the heart of our school and is comprised of a team of skilled, fun, and caring people knowledgeable in the field of Early Childhood Education. We love coming to work each day and are committed to establishing meaningful relationships with children, parents and each other. We continually strive to improve our school and seek to increase our knowledge and abilities through continuing education and shared experiences. 

• You can expect that your child will be safe at Happy Apple Academy. We have strict rules about picking up children, and never leave children unattended.
• You can expect that your child will be cared for at Happy Apple Academy. Our teachers and staff are wonderful, loving individuals who genuinely enjoy children. 
• You can expect that your child will receive spiritual training at Happy Apple Academy. We are a Christian Ministry. We choose to focus on those beliefs which Christians hold in common. Our main emphasis is that Jesus loves us and wants us to love Him. We believe that children learn about Jesus' love as they experience our love. 
• You can expect your Child's preschool days to be filled with social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. The cognitive skills learned at Happy Apple will set your child up for a lifetime of learning. 

Happy Apple Academy offers two and three day programs for 2.5 and 3 year old children, and three and five day programs for 4 and 5 year old children during their prekindergarten year. All classes are held 9am to 12pm. Our school year runs late August through mid May. Happy Apple is a member of the Georgia Preschool Association.
